2021
This page is dedicated to all my published pieces in 2021. This was a big year for me as it was the year I started writing for both Atomic Geekdom and Kaiju Ramen Magazine!
Spider-Man: Every Villain, And Where We Left Them
This was one of my most fun to write. I had just started writing lists for Screen Rant and wanted to do one on my own. So for the lead-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home, I decided to remind everyone what happened to each villain in the Spider-Man movies. I think it turned out very good. It was originally published on November 23, 2021.
Spider-Man: Freshman Year - What It Could Mean For His Future In The MCU
This piece was just me trying to speculate what the purpose of Spider-Man: Freshman Year could be. I turned out to be wrong, but I don’t think I should have been. It was originally published on November 15, 2021, on Atomic Geekdom.com.
Analyzing the Daniel Craig James Bond Films
This piece was my attempt to analyze the Craig-era Bond films and attempt to explain where I felt Bond should go after No Time To Die. It was published on October 7, 2021, on Atomic Geekdom.com.
Black Widow vs. The Mouse
This was the first article I ever wrote for Atomic Geekdom. This was a huge milestone for me as it led to a wonderful partnership that continues to this day! It was published on August 30, 2021.
Gamera: Always in Godzilla’s Shadow
This is a big one for me! I consider this to be one of my very best. Originally published August 1, 2021, for the 3rd issue of Kaiju Ramen Magazine. This was the first piece I wrote for Kaiju Ramen that started a wonderful partnership.
The Heart of Fast & Furious: Paul Walker
Probably my most decisive piece. But I stand by this. Something fundamentally changed with the Fast franchise after Paul Walker died. This was my way of figuring it out and coming to terms with my dwindling interest in it. Originally published on June 23, 2021, for the Fake Nerd Podcast website.
AT&T Calls It Quits
The beginning of the end for Warner Bros. Wrote this for the original Fake Nerd Podcast website on June 19, 2021.
Continue The MonsterVerse
I wrote this piece for the original Fake Nerd Podcast website on May 5, 2021, when it was unclear if the Monsterverse would continue.
RIP Cinerama Dome (For Now)
I wrote this for the original Fake Nerd Podcast website on April 27, 2021. I’m actually a little surprised that no one has revived it yet.
Godzilla vs. Kong: Savior of Theatres?
Wrote this piece after Godzilla vs. Kong did shockingly well at the pandemic box office. It was published on April 17, 2021 on the original Fake Nerd Podcast website.
Marvel Severs Ties With Diamond
I wrote this piece after Marvel left Diamond (for the second time), which broke up the monopoly and set off a domino effect that is still being felt. I also spoke about the Dimond monopoly. It was originally published on March 26, 2021 on the original Fake Nerd Podcast website.
Did COVID Speed Up The Inevitable?
Over the years, I’ve become increasingly more concerned about theaters so I wrote about it a few times. This piece was originally published on January 4, 2021 on the original Fake Nerd Podcast website.
